Search engines return thousands of links. Social networks amplify the most emotional opinions. Artificial intelligence usually offers a single answer, which may be wrong or outdated.

A new approach
Veraxity works differently
Any question can have several competing versions. Each version is backed by arguments and evidence, and its veracity is recalculated continuously.
The Veraxity algorithm
At the core of the system is an independent algorithm that rates how reliable information is.
Arguments are the building blocks of Veraxity. You can write your own, borrow them from other authors, confirm or refute them with other arguments, and build your own opinion out of them, creating a system of interlinked proofs and refutations. This forms an endless graph of arguments and the links between them.
The algorithm analyses this graph, taking into account:
- mutual confirmations and refutations;
- the quality and number of borrowings;
- the reputation of authors.
From this data the algorithm calculates the veracity of every version on a scale from 0 to 100%.
Trust
Veraxity is built from the ground up on the principle of independent, verifiable assessment.
Once the initial stage of development is complete, the formula and the principles of the algorithm will be published openly.
Later we plan to move the key parts of the system onto a blockchain, so that its results cannot be changed even by the Veraxity team itself.
Our goal is a system people can trust not because they trust us, but because they can check how it works.
