How to use Veraxity?
Topic → Versions → Opinions → Arguments → Confirmations / Refutations
Find a topic you care about
Search for a question, an event, a person, a company or any other topic. If the topic doesn't exist yet, you can create it yourself.
Study the versions
Any topic can have several competing versions. Each version gets a veracity score that is updated continuously as new arguments appear.
Study opinions and arguments
By default Veraxity shows the consensus opinion — an automatically assembled set of the most reliable arguments from different authors. Each argument can contain text, links to sources and images.
Check the arguments
Click any argument to open its page. There you'll see the arguments that confirm or refute it. From there you can confirm or refute any argument.
Build your own opinion
Choose a version and state your position, using your own arguments or ones other authors have already written.
How to build a strong opinion
Don't try to write every argument yourself. Before creating a new argument, look for existing ones.
- it makes your opinion more convincing
- it has a stronger effect on the version's veracity
- it builds your reputation
- it brings knowledge together instead of duplicating it
Shape veracity
Every user can take part in deciding which versions and arguments are the most reliable.
- create topics and versions
- publish opinions
- add arguments
- confirm and refute arguments
